UKEOF AI conference recordings now available

Videos of the talks given at our annual conference, The AI Frontier in Environmental Observation, are now available. See the conference web page for more.

The 2024 UKEOF conference considered current applications of AI in the environmental observation sector, encompassing monitoring and modelling, as well as strategies, ethics, biases, risks and wider considerations associated with the application of AI. The online event featured speakers from across the environmental sector, who provided examples of current initiatives that are harnessing AI in environmental observation, discussing the impact on their work and the lessons learnt. Keynote talks were given by Professor David Topping (University of Manchester) and Dr. Francesca Mazzi (Brunel University).

UKEOF runs a successful series of annual conferences addressing topics of interest to the environmental observing community. Conferences in the series so far are:
