Previously, the UK-EOF was a programme under the Environment Research Funders' Forum (ERFF). In June 2010, ERFF merged with the Living With Environment Change (LWEC) programme to ensure a more effective partnership for coordinating and getting best value from environmental research and observation. The UK-EOF's Management Group now reports to the LWEC Partners Board.
